Wold's Vaults modpack overview

Wold's Vaults, based on Vault Hunters third Edition, is a modpack built around running Vaults: dungeon-like dimensions with bespoke gear and loot that drive your progression. It's the most RPG-like pack we've played, clearly inspired by Path of Exile. You start light, but the loop quickly becomes about risk, speed, and smart routing, with each run feeding the build choices that make the next vault smoother and more rewarding. If you enjoy builds that feel earned, this pack hits that sweet spot.

Wold's Vaults talent tree and abilities

Unlike VH3's defaults, Wold's Vaults leans hard into customisability. If the baseline pacing feels slow, tweak it. You can enter a vault from the start and adjust item loss on death, XP rates, loot counts, and more.

Research tree and unlockable mods like Botania or Create

The Talent tree is the star: build archetypes with specialisations and active abilities. Our endgame setup used Nova and Arcane scaling off Ability Power, but poison clear or Implode + max mana builds slap too.

Progression is shaped by the Research Tree, which unlocks better backpacks, storage networks, or whole mods (Botania, Create, etc.). Higher-level vaults demand serious loot handling, and these unlocks are how you keep up.

Herald final boss and endgame vault objective

Collect all 25 unique fragments to face the Herald. It's a proper capstone fight; few reach it, but it's worth the grind.
