How many players can join a Dragonwilds world?

Dragonwilds is built around small co-op parties, around 4-8 people but we suspect mods will allow a lot more.

Do I need to have played Runescape before?

No. Dragonwilds works fine as a fresh start. Knowing Runescape lore helps with references, but you can learn the skills, regions and bosses just by playing.

Is Dragonwilds still in Early Access?

Yes. Systems, skills and regions are still being expanded. Expect balance changes and occasional wipes while development continues.

Will my world wipe when big updates land?

The developers may require world resets for certain updates. Keeping regular backups on the control panel gives you the option to roll back or duplicate a world before you experiment.

When will dedicated servers be available?

Dedicated servers are currently targeted for around the end of March 2026. We will have hosting ready as soon as the server files are release. We'll try to make it easy for you to move from your local save to a Dragonwilds server.

What are the benefits of using a Dragonwilds server with you?

Your world runs 24/7 on dedicated hardware instead of one player's PC. You get full access to settings, automatic backups, one-click updates and support if you want to tune difficulty or progression.

Can you move my existing world to your hosting?

If Dragonwilds supports exporting or copying world saves, we can usually help migrate them. Open a ticket and we will walk you through the steps and options available at that time.

What is RuneScape: Dragonwilds?

RuneScape: Dragonwilds dedicated servers are planned for around March 2026. We will have hosting ready the moment the files are released.

Dragonwilds is a co-op survival game set in Gielinor, built around small groups instead of a massive shared MMO world. You drop into Ashenfall, a new continent where dragons have woken up, and the long game is simple enough: build up, gear up and eventually go after the dragon queen.

Up to four players can share a world, chopping trees, mining ore, building bases and unlocking familiar RuneScape style skills as you go. You still grind levels and chase better kit, but you do it in a tighter loop where every new workstation, spell or upgrade has a clear use in keeping the group alive for another night.

The game is in Early Access, and the current level caps sit lower than a classic RuneScape account, with most skills topping out around 50 and newer ones like Farming pushing a bit higher. That is on purpose. Jagex is using Early Access for balance passes, new regions and extra systems, so there is room for the numbers and content to grow over time.

Dragonwilds leans into crafting and settlement play. You start with a rough camp, then turn it into a proper base with storage, crafting chains and defences that feel worth the effort once the harder creatures show up. Later updates bring extra tech trees, new skills, creative mode and custom world settings so you can tune things like hunger rates, damage and other survival rules for your group.

Running your own Dragonwilds server means the world belongs to you and your friends. Progress is there whenever you log in, you decide who joins, and you can experiment with world settings without worrying about random wipes. Once dedicated servers are live, we will support them on day one, with high-clock speed CPUs, NVMe SSD storage, easy config access and automated backups from the control panel.
