Satisfactory 1.2 Experimental Update

In this blog, we'll explore the exciting news that is the 1.2 Experimental Satisfactory update. Adding a few highly requested features, like an overhaul of the vehicle pathing system and fluid trucks, the game is about to get mixed up. While we'll be outlining the important stuff from the trailer, we recommend you go and watch it as we found it to be quite funny.

Spawn Toilets feature in Satisfactory 1.2

The first thing unveiled in the trailer was Spawn Toilets, a way for you to pick your respawn location. No longer will you have troubles with respawning miles away from your current project, as you can place one of these down and you will spawn to the closest one at your untimely demise.

New truck pathing system in Satisfactory 1.2

Arguably the biggest and most exciting thing for us that is being added is the new pathing system for trucks. This is important for something added we'll cover in the next section of our blog, but those dreams of megahighways are no longer dreams! Say farewell to the extremely unstable pathing system of old times, as this one is much more similar to setting down train tracks. Trucks won't fly off into the distance like they used to, which may be a great loss to some.

Fluid Trucks in Satisfactory 1.2

No more will you have to deal with finicky pipes across canyons, as they have added Fluid Trucks for that. Alongside the new pathing changes in 1.2, these will be the go-to option for long-distance fluid transfer until Trains are unlocked. Trains will probably still outperform in speed, but these will definitely be a lot cooler than them.
