In this blog, we'll be exploring the new Palworld update upcoming on the 17th of December this year, titled "Home Sweet Home". Many new things were showcased, including a surprise that may sound exhilarating to dedicated Palworld fans. Some of the new features include the ULTRAKILL collab, colour customisation, and a tease at something we're not entirely sure of quite yet.

One of the biggest additions is from the ULTRAKILL collaboration, adding both V1 and V2 from the game as playable skins in Palworld. Featuring the iconic Marksman Revolver from the game, it can be used to toss a coin in the air, and when shot, will ricochet shots to any nearby enemies. This also includes if enemies shoot it, meaning that it can be used to reflect enemy shots back at them.

While the trailer may not do the name of the update much justice... We can see that Palworld is adding colour customisation, which will allow you to change the colours of walls and presumably buildings to any colour you would like! This feature comes as very exciting for those of us who like to build and customise our bases.

One thing we found peculiar was the blurred image of the new collaboration character hitting some kind of new Pal we cannot make out. At the top of the blur, you can see them holding a stick with some green skin, which may allude to it being something more than just a new Pal, potentially a new game feature we've not yet seen.

One final surprise we got from the trailer was this showcase of what we can only assume is a new boss, potentially the final boss of the game, as what followed immediately after was extremely exciting. In the trailer, the developers announced that Palworld would be officially entering 1.0 in 2026, leaving Early Access.
