Let's explore the latest snapshot released by Mojang, promising a few new exciting things. The most notable of these things is the change of the baby mob textures and sounds, making them much more than downscaled adult mobs! One smaller change is the addition of a name tag crafting recipe, well, I say smaller, but this is an absolute game changer!

These baby mobs range in look and size, from big to small and from fluffy to fuzzy. Some of the mobs that got the most notable visual and audio overhauls would be the baby Chicken, Pig, and Cow. The development team made variant versions of these babies as well, following up on their prior update to add variants to most passive mobs.

The baby chicken is one of the most notable changes, becoming much smaller and cuter from the update. They're significantly smaller and much less dopey looking than the previous minified adult version of the mob. These little guys are sure to warm your heart in the coming days as even old Minecraft players are coming around on this change.

One of the smaller changes is the addition of a crafting recipe for Name Tags, something long requested by all players. It costs a measly iron nugget and paper, making them super easy to acquire now! Gone are the days of desperately searching dungeons or trading with villagers for a simple cosmetic feature (aside from the despawn prevention capabilities!).
