Exciting news for Enshrouded players as a new update has been released. Souls of the Frozen Frontier brings a large new region, a higher level cap, dynamic weather, townsfolk, farm animals and pets, plus a visual update and many fixes that improve overall gameplay and server performance.
Head north into the Albaneve Summits, a high mountain biome with deep snow, icy lakes, frozen rivers and new aerial updrafts to extend your glides. Expect new enemies, a guided boss encounter and new Shroud roots that grant extra skill points. The level cap is now 35, and there is a new crafting tier with resources and stations found in the region.
Weather now changes across Embervale. Rain and snow affect visibility, stealth and heat, so prepare warm armour, foods and heat sources for the cold. Settlements feel more alive with townsfolk and crafting assistants who can be placed at outposts, roam during the day and sleep in beds at night.
You can tame peaceful wildlife and find new pets to bring home. Feed and shelter farm animals to gain useful resources, and over time your flock may grow. A rendering pass improves tone mapping, skies, clouds, exposure and bloom for clearer scenes. Combat and quality of life also see changes with new grappling hook skills, turbulence while gliding, the ability to pause in single-player and adjustable UI text size.
