Top 5 Places to Loot in 7 Days to Die

In today's blog, we will be showing you some of our top 5 places to get loot in 7 Days to Die on version 2.4 of the game. We'll be using Navezgane's map for this, as randomly generated worlds are not guaranteed to have the same set of buildings or cities. Some POI's may spawn in them still however, so keep reading even if you're not a fan of Navezgane.

Starting our list off is the Navezgane General Hospital, ideal for medical supplies and early XP. Most players will spawn near this building as it's in the Forest biome, so it's the perfect place if you're looking to get a headstart on an experience and loot. This is a 5 skull building however, so only take it on early if you're confident in your zombie slaying abilities. If you're only interested in the best loot, you could build a tower up to the loot room located near the top of the building, in a hole on the side of it.

The next spot we recommend is Hybrid Mining, located deep into the Burnt Forest. This POI, while treacherous, offers great loot for those who can brave it. The POI is unique in that it is very open, making the location of the loot hard to discern for those who have not explored it before. The best loot is stored in the grey container near the middle of the POI.

Still in the Burnt Forest, the Crack-a-Book HQ is amazing for finding skill magazines. This building alone can level up your skills by a significant margin, having many loot piles that primarily dispense skill magazines. While there's other things to loot here, the best reason is for your skills. While not the primary focus of the building, there is still a large loot stash as it is still a 5.5 skull rated building. The stash can be found in the basement of the building, requiring you to fight off a massive horde of zombies.

In the Desert, you can find Area 7, an almost entirely underground POI. This location is unique for many reasons, but it is honestly one of the most fun POI's to go through in the entire map. Make sure you're prepared, as evading the zombies won't be much of an option. The best loot is located behind the third sequenced door from the main area underground. We recommend going through the whole structure, however.

For our top pick, the Shotgun Messiah Factory is one of the best locations to loot. The structure is simple to navigate through, has a diverse loot pool, and the loot stash is in an obvious location - near the very top! On the second-tallest part of the building is the loot stash. The large horde of zombies is on the roof below it, and only a smaller cluster of zombies defends the loot, making it easy for cunning players to grab the loot and go.
