In this blog, we'll be showing off some of the new features in the Seaborne Raiders update of ASKA. This is the eight major update for ASKA, and one of their biggest ones yet too! Featuring raiding, new biomes, and expeditions, this new update has a lot in store for new, and old players of ASKA.
Starting off strong, Expeditions are a new feature that allows you to cross the ocean and explore new worlds. These waters are not without danger, as sea beasts now crawl the seas. You'll want to prepare carefully by stocking your ship with all the necessary materials, like food and weapons. Make sure you're ready for almost everything, and then some.
While exploring new lands, remember that you are never alone. You will find new island types with all new kinds of danger, including new bosses and entire enemy factions that will challenge you further after the long voyage to their lands. These will truly test your resource management and combat skills, so make sure you are truly ready for the test when it comes to raiding enemy factions.
After defeating a particular boss found out abroad, you will unlock a new type of villager, the Golem. This villager is shaped using a rare resource found on the islands called Jotun Glass. These villagers will work without hunger or sleep, but will expire after a set amount of time. Once they expire, they are gone until you make more, so make sure to use them wisely.
